The way back home is not an easy path. It is a battle, a war between the need for safety and the desire to live. Dragging the parts found in the darkness, into the light is not for the faint of heart. The heartbreaks were many, were necessary. Grieving each loss to make room for the new. Releasing, surrendering all that was known. Learning to trust again.
These are the lessons I learnt from the light.
